Georgia Anne Muldrow defies categorization: she is fluent in the forms of jazz, hip-hop, funk, and more. When we spoke with Georgia last fall, she had just released the brilliant LP Mama, You Can Bet! under her Jyoti moniker. This spring, she dropped VWETO III under her own name. According to Georgia, the mostly instrumental LP is “intended for movement.” and like much of her work, she’s responsible for nearly every sound on the record.
