Radio Hour with Matt Berry

"Musician, actor, and T.V. writer Matt Berry is a true polymath. He’s the co-creator and star of the acclaimed show Toast of London, and is celebrated for his roles on The I.T. Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, and What We Do in the Shadows. Berry’s parallel career in music is equally impressive - he’s released nine studio albums and composed many TV scores.. His country-folk-inflected record Phantom Birds came out just last year, and he's back with another great album, The Blue Elephant - a psychedelic rock LP that he wrote, recorded and self-produced in quarantine. On this episode, Berry talks about the new album, the formative influence of Top of the Pops, writing for one medium and getting ideas for another, and how he manages to be so incredibly productive."
